Marquee Furniture Hire

It is important to choose the correct furniture for use in a marquee. The majority of functions held in a marquee are usually a special occasion such as a wedding or alternatively an event such as a craft fair, show or hospitality function.

Choosing the right combination of furniture in the marquee will ensure the right atmosphere is created within the available space. If the function is a wedding or party consideration needs to be given as to the positioning of any bar equipment as well as possibly a portable dance floor.

Once the basic floor layout has been decided a choice can be made as to the style and quantity of chairs and tables with usually traditional banqueting chairs being the best option, matched with probably 5 or six foot round tables.

Another alternative is to use rectangular tables which can line the sides of the marquee. Although more formal in appearance this type of furniture can be dressed to great effect with contrasting or complimenting coloured linen.

Rectangular types of tables are also better suited for public events such as country fairs and any other type of event where products and services are being sold or promoted. Having the tables laid out in a straight line is better due to them being easy to set up and being more suitable to market any displayed items or literature. This layout also creates a clear walkway around the marquee.

Other furniture suited for marquee use includes:

3' round tables (ideal for wedding cakes)
4' round tables (seats approximately 6-8 guests)
5' round tables (seats 8-9 guests)
5'6 round table (seats 9-10 guests)
6' round tables (seat 10-11 guests)
6'x2'3 trestle table (seats approximately 6 people)

Cafe tables
